It was ladies’ night as Lil’ Kim and Eve
co-headlined a show at indigO2 at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday.
The fierce femcees performed solo sets for their British fans. Eve
opened with her self-titled Lip Lock single and “Satisfaction,” and
served up her biggest hits including “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” and “Who’s
That Girl,” closing with “Tambourine.”
Dressed in all red, the Queen Bee stormed the stage with a nostalgic
set that included “Lighters Up,” “Big Momma Thang,” and “The Jump Off.”
She brought out her protégée Tiffany Foxx to perform their collaboration
“Jay Z,” repped her hometown with “Empire State of Mind,” and shut it
down with her remix of Rihanna’s “Man Down.”
The rap divas have developed a friendship throughout the years. “I
love Kim,” Eve reportedly said in an interview. “I’ve always been a Kim
fan since I was in high school. I was smoking a lot of blunts listening
to Kim. I would love to get with her on another record.”
They have recorded a reggae-flavored collaboration called “Murder She Wrote” for Missy Elliott’s upcoming album.
Also, 39 year old Lil Kim’s outfit didn’t flatter her much as it revealed some serious camel toe. See picture below:
